Sachem Trio review

Highly Strung's cellist Sarah Huson and violinist Emma Blanco recently performed a piano trio recital with pianist Charles Slade.
They performed a varied programme in the Great Hall as part of the Sunday evening series - Music in the Great Hall.

The following review appeared in the Nottingham Evening Post;

"The emotional temperature of the evening was high. The andante from Mendelssohn's Piano No 2 - a tender and yearning theme, showed the perfectly matched string players produce sounds of a strikingly vocal quality."
