Its a busy wedding season…!

Highly Strung are now in full wedding season mode with May – September key wedding dates booked up with celebrations.

Over the past few weeks we have covered Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Staffordshire playing at Normanton Church Museum, Makeney Hall, Compton Verney, Belton House, Hothorpe Hall, Prestwold Hall, Stubton Hall, Osmaston Park and the Ashes.

Forthcoming weddings include Langely Priory, Fawsley Hall, Rushton Hall, Branston Golf adn Country Club, Warwickshire Golf Club, Harlaxton Manor, Breadsall Priory, Chatsowrth House, Allerton Castle, Belvoir Castle and Hassop Hall.

Also remember to put the Save the Date wedding fayre in your diary – 14th October at the Roundhouse in Derby.

New music from HSQ

We absolutely LOVE trying out new music to add to our huge repertoire. Today we played for the first time – Play that Funky Music and Yellow by Coldplay – both went down a storm :-)

Nottingham Law School’s Fire Ball

A fiery, upbeat tempo for tonight’s event at Colwick Hall.

A red theme, fire dancers and lots of very happy law students gathered in the Lakeside Pavillion for a very successful ball.

Two days, two brides, two weddings, ONE venue and ONE string quartet – here we are at Derby’s Cathedral Quarter Hotel for another wonderful wedding….
